Purpose Lifts Off
For the next two weeks we’re front right in the Engine Lift Off Challenge. Basically each Engine business takes it in turns to have one of the lifts at 60 Great Portland Street for their very own real-life ‘elevator pitch’ – see what we’ve done there?
You can’t communicate much on the walls of a crowded lift full of people politely standing too close to each other so we thought we’d stick to asking one question - "What’s you purpose?". Helping businesses discover or define their purpose is one of the things we love doing most. You can’t address it without knowing: why you exist, what you’re good at, and what difference you make. A simple question that’s tough to answer but incredibly valuable. The people and companies you admire the most are the ones with a clear purpose. They’re also more likely to be successful in what they do, even though their purpose probably isn’t success or money itself. It’s amazing what a strong sense of Purpose can help you achieve.
